40 year old Stacey Renee Grisham of McMinnville died Wednesday at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. She was a homemaker. A memorial service will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Osasic, 213 East Main Street, McMinnville. Jerry Stoik will officiate, She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Redmore. Survivors include two daughters, Lindsey Redmore of McMinnville and Amber Redmore of Gallatin. Two granddaughters, Myah Welster of Kansas and Shyla Redmore of McMinnville and one grandchild on the way. Two brothers, William and wife Traci Frazier and Kevin and wife Karrie Redmore. Two sisters, Becky Redmore of Rock Island and Dorothy Marie Talley of Arkansas. Mother, Dorothy Kernagis of McMinnville. Brother-in-law, Mark Guertin of Rock Island. 91 year old Bonnie Mae Brown of Smithville died Thursday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Glen Burks and Brad Driver will officiate with burial in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Brown; parents, Arthur and Dollie Taylor Hendrixson and a brother, Connie Hendrixson, and infant son Jerry Wayne Brown. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Vanatta of Smithville; two grandchildren, Kristen and Ryan Vallance of Michigan and Matthew Fish of Smithville. Five great-grandchildren, Tori and Tyler Buchanan and Broghan Brinley Vallance, all of Michigan, and Keaton Fish of Smithville. One niece, Joyce Hendrixson of Smithville. 52 year old Rose Mary Banks of Smithville died Tuesday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker; member of PETA; and the Pomeroy Chapel Brethren in Christ. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Carl David Gilbert, II will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Banks. Survivors include two sisters, June Gilbert and Rita and husband Eddie Adcock all of Smithville. A brother, Glyn and wife Kim Banks of Smithville. 67 year old Sarah Tramel of Smithville died Monday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a retired cafeteria manager with DeKalb County Schools. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. B.J. Thomason will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lovell and Mairene Bailiff Keith; a sister, Sue Keith Hale; and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Carolyn Young. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Tramel of Smithville. Two daughters, Jennifer Tramel of Smithville and Jill Tramel of San Antonio, Texas. Two brothers-in-law, Jerry and wife Carolyn Tramel of Smithville and Eddie and wife Debbie Tramel of Alcoa. Two sisters-in-law, Becky and husband Moose Nokes and Joyce Hendrixson of Dowelltown. 74 year old Lellon McCoy Cantrell of Smithville died Sunday at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. He was a Baptist. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Johnny Adcock will officiate and burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling and Odell Barnes Cantrell and a brother, Levoy Cantrell. Survivors include his wife, Donna Faye Green Cantrell of Smithville. Two sons, Levoy Cantrell of McMinnville and Steve Cantrell of Smithville. A daughter, Laverne and husband Steve Butcher of New York. Four grandchildren, Nathan and Tara Cantrell of Utah, Mandy and Chase Weiler of New York, and Justin Cantrell and Leslie Cantrell of Smithville. 54 year old Julie Ray Saylors of Smithville died Tuesday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a nursery worker. She is survived by special companion, Danny Petty of Smithville. Ruth Parker

82 year old Ruth Parker of Liberty died Friday at her residence. She was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church. Parker was also a retired shirt factory worker, having worked 30 years. She also worked with the Liberty Senior Citizens for 15 years. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale and Matt Long will officiate and burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Onis and Onie May Crook Driver; a son, Larry Martin; and a sister, Robbie Summers. Survivors include a daughter, Judy and husband Gary Mathis of Liberty. A daughter-in-law, Connie Martin of Liberty. 60 year old Jerry D. Bain of Smithville died Thursday morning at his residence. Bain was a Pentecostal and employed by Home Roofing Company. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Buford Bain, Jerry Braswell, and Glenn Chapman will officiate and burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. Bain was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Esta Mai Davis Bain; brothers, Turney and Junior Bain; sisters, Rachel Taylor, Henrietta Estes; and an infant brother, James Bain and infant sister, Trudy Bain. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Bain of Smithville. Children, Darlene Bain and companion Greg Driver, Donald and wife Lisa Bain, and Phillip and wife Jamie Bain all of Smithville. 79 year old Billy E. Ferrell of Smithville and formerly of Red Boiling Springs and Carthage, died Tuesday evening at DeKalb Community Hospital. The body is at Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Jimmy Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin Thursday at 12 noon until 8 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. until service time. The family requests memorials be made to the Thomas Cemetery. Inez Young Love

94 year old Inez Young Love of Smithville died Monday at her home. She was born on October 5th, 1916 in Smithville to the late William Henry and Flossie Parsley Young. She was married to the late Van Everett Love on January 1st, 1938 for 45 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter,Judy Carolyn Maxwell; three sisters, Stella Smithson, Trudie Patterson, and Evelyn Love Ervin; and one brother, Jack Young. Love was a devout Christian and a life-long member of the United Pentecostal Church where she taught the ladies Bible Study Class for many years. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and John Christian, Jr. of Greenville, Texas and Treva and husband Stanley Hunt of Hendersonville. Six grandchildren, Michael and wife Jodie Hunt of Tennessee, Lisa Christian of Texas, Todd Maxwell of Tennessee, John, III and wife Melanie Christian of Texas, Gary Hunt of Tennessee, and Scott Maxwell of Alabama. Seven great grandchildren, Tye Hunt of Kentucky, Lauren Hunter of Tennessee, Garrett Hunt of Tennessee, Anthony Maxwell of Alabama, Ashley Maxwell of Alabama, Rebecca Christian of Texas, and Cameron Christian of Texas. Three great great grandchildren, Aston Maxwell of Alabama, Brayden Hunter of Tennessee, and Bryson Hunter of Tennessee. She is also survived by a sister, Henrietta Hale of Smithville. Three sisters-in-law, Peggy Young of McMinnville, Betty Bailiff of Smithville, and Kate Love Lowhorn of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the New Life United Pentecostal Church. Dwayne Cornelius and Dan Stirnemann will officiate and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. at the New Life United Pentecostal Church.
