82 year old Rubye Christine Webb of Smithville died Sunday morning at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a member of the Webb’s Chapel United Methodist Church, the Women’s Methodist Fellowship, and was a bookkeeper for Amonett-Nixon Chevrolet. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Douglas Webb will officiate and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Webb; a grandson, Chris Webb; parents, Arthur and Mae Redmon Judkins; a sister, June Nixon; and brothers, Dean, Len, and Jimmie Judkins. She is survived by two sons, Larry and wife Jackie Webb and Dwayne and wife Modena Webb all of Smithville. Robert Wayne Nolt

53 year old Robert Wayne Nolt of Smithville died Monday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a member of the Smithville First United Methodist Church and a retired grocery clerk. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Mark Pafford and John Purdue will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Toni Nolt of Smithville. Three children, Andrea Lewis of Murfreesboro, Elizabeth Nolt of Smithville, and Benjamin and his wife Tasha Nolt of Spencer. Four grandchildren, Mackenzie Knox, Alyssa Lewis, Braxton Nolt, and Wade Lewis. His mother, Luella Nolt of Orrville, Ohio. Brothers and sisters, Judy Rowan, Karen Markley, and Ron Nolt all of Ohio and Beverly Nolt- Witzerman of Atlanta, Georgia, Sandra Stanton of Cookeville, and Janet Steiner of Ohio. Georgia Mae Hendrixson

94 year old Georgia Mae Hendrixson of Smithville died Monday at her residence. She was a retired owner of Hendrixson Grocery. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Earl Adcock will officiate. There will be no visitation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Hendrixson; her parents, George and Maude Clayborn Cubbins; three sisters, Dexie Hooper, Elsie Washer, and Evie Crook; and three brothers, Bill, Dalton, and Walter Cubbins. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Hendrixson of Smithville. One sister, Grace Parsley of Smithville. One brother, Charles Cubbins of Mississippi. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 27 year old Tabatha Taylor Young of Smithville died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. 70 year old Paul Edward Crook of Watertown died Thursday. He was a member of the Snow Hill United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, and he was retired from TRW Ross Gear Division. 41 year old Troy Edward “Bodie” Bain of Smithville died Tuesday in an automobile accident. A memorial service will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. The family has chosen cremation. There will be no visitation but the memorial service is open to the public. He is survived by his wife, Jeanna Snow Bain of Smithville. Three daughters, Ashley Knowles of Murfreesboro, and LaTroya Bain and Misty Gingerich of Smithville. Two sons, Troy James “Bodie” Bain and Dalton Dewayne Bain both of Smithville. His father, Troy Bain, Sr. of Smithville. A half sister, Ponzella Redmon of Smithville and half brother, Cecil Judkins of Smithville. Three grandchildren. 64 year old Kenneth Lynn Eastes of Liberty died Wednesday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was a body shop foreman for Kenworth Trucking, a graduate of Watertown High School and the Nashville Auto Diesel College. Eastes was a member of the Church of Christ and the Army National Guard. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Gwynnath Ford and David Lawson will officiate and burial will be in the Commerce Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Sunday. 62 year old Betty Jean Bogle died Tuesday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a factory worker and attended the Whorton Springs Baptist Church.
