68 year old Frank Hutchins of the Shady Grove Community of White County died Tuesday at his residence. He was retired from the Chrysler Corporation and a Shriner. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Lawson and Lucinda Ann Adcock Hutchins and three brothers, Johnny, Gene, and Donald Hutchins and one nephew, Paul David Scott. Survivors include three sisters, Marie Kocis, Lana Scott, and Janice Stafford and two special cousins, Ruth Rice and Eddie Hutchins all of Sparta. Inez Jones

80 year old Inez Jones of Smithville died Sunday at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bernard Houk will officiate and burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvil Lee Jones. Survivors include a daughter, Linda and her husband Ralph Blazek of Milford, Michigan. Four grandchildren, Lisa Jones, Greg Jones, Steve Blazek, and Jeff Blazek all of Michigan. Danny “Sonny” Lee Atnip

55 year old Danny “Sonny” Lee Atnip of Dowelltown died Wednesday at Centennial Hospital. He was a Protestant. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Atnip and Willeane Shehane Saylors. Survivors include six sisters, Margie and husband Gary Williams of Alexandria, Betty George of Smithville, Linda and husband Dan Fite of Dowelltown, Gail and husband Marlon Bain of Smithville, Paulette and husband Bobby Parker of Gassaway, Tammy and husband Jerry Estes of Smithville. Two brothers, Roy Douglas Atnip of Smithville and Michael and wife Frances Saylors of Smithville. Several nieces and nephews also survive along with special great nephews and great nieces. 37 year old Dallas Carlton Fisher of Smithville and formerly of Watertown died Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Lebanon. A memorial service will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. John Hunt will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Neil Fisher. He is survived by his mother, Mamie Lou Fisher of Smithville. 51 year old Manuel Arroyo of Cookeville died Monday at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Provincial service at 7:00p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00p.m. at Whitson Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Belen Miranda Arroyo; children, Manuel and Azlia Arroyo. Sisters, Delia, Elvia, Blanca, and Veronica Panker. Brothers, Fidel, Abel, and Benjamin Arroyo. 92 year old Vada Merritt Pack of Hendersonville died Tuesday at her residence. She was a retired dietician and a member of the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Hendersonville. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Timothy Binion will officiate with burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy M. Pack; her parents, Will and Sudie Johnson Merritt; one sister, Josie Pack. She is survived by one son, Troy M., Jr. and his wife Bonnie Pack ; two grandsons, Troy Denton and Melissa Pack and Jason R. Pack, all of Hendersonville; one granddaughter, Kelly L. and Ignacio Jarillo of Whitehouse; four great-grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Pack of Hendersonville and Ariana and Madalyn Jarillo of Whitehouse. 89 year old Lora Lodean Ferguson of Smithville died Sunday evening at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a member of the Jefferson Community Church and a chemist for the Chase Brass Company. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bob Ferguson and Michael Hale will officiate. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ray Ferguson; her parents, Herman Eldridge and Hallie Mae Adcock Thweatt; sisters, Eldridge Thweatt, Stella Young, Martha Gribble, Lula Booth, and Betty Judkins; and a brother, Jessie Thweatt. Survivors include children, Dana Ferguson of Smithville, Robert Ferguson of Florida, and Judith Kucinski of Ohio. 73 year old Hazel Hale of Smithville died Friday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a Freewill Baptist. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 pm. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. David England and Bernard Houk will officiate and burial will be in the Bonham Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hale and two brothers, James Davis and Danny Davis. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene and husband Calvin Ray Tramel and Debbie McGinniss all of Smithville. Three grandchildren, Kathy and husband Henry Colwell of Rock Island, C.J. and wife Tabby Tramel, and Cody Norvick all of Smithville. 34 year old Kimberly Beach Ridinger of Murfreesboro died Sunday. She is survived by her husband Mike Ridinger, daughters Kelsey Elise Ridinger and Abigail Hope Ridinger, and a son Jameson Drake Ridinger all of Murfreesboro, Parents Paul and Alice Beach of Acworth, Georgia. A brother Steven Paul Beach of Acworth, Georgia. Her grandfather Bruce B. Beach of Crossville, and her father and mother – in- law , Larry and Brenda Ridinger of Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Howard Bogle, and grandmother Molly Beach. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until the memorial service which will begin at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.. Michael Murray will officiate. 46 year old Richey David Pack of Smithville died Monday at his residence. He was an employee of Kingston Timer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Eston and Flora Ethell Turner Pack. Survivors include two sons, David Seth and Ricky Payton Pack. Four sisters, Paulette Atchley, Ivy Barnes, Deborah Driver, and Sonya Hale. One brother, Douglas Pack. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
