53 year old Alice Faye Bandy Selby of Sparta died Saturday at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Monday. 43 year old Sandra Kaye Knowles Ramsey of Smithville died Sunday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. 86 year old Oma Ruth Chapman of Pulaski died Friday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was born in Prospect, Tennessee and was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ. 83 year old Sarah Frances Gothard Chamberlain of Nashville died Tuesday at Southern Hills Hospital. She was a secretary at the Nashville Board of Education and a member of the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. 53 year old Eugene Darnell of Brush Creek died Thursday at his residence after an extended illness. He was a Pentecostal and was pastor at the House of Prayer for ten years. He was also a retired iron worker and member of the Iron Worker’s Local 492. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. He was a DeKalb County native, a graduate and star athlete at Dibrell High School, a retired nurseryman, and a member of the Whorton Springs Baptist Church. 77 year old Tom H. Luna of Smithville died Tuesday at NHC Healthcare of Smithville. He was a member of the Mount Hope The Baptist Church in the Jefferson Community. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired manager of the Consumer Gas Station. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. 84 year old Marie Neal Hildreth of Clarksville died Monday at her residence. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church of the Nazarene. Tony Miller and Maury Norman will officiate. A memorial will be held Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Valhalla Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a registered nurse in Alabama and Tennessee, the first college nurse at MTSU in Murfreesboso, and she worked at the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, and was head nurse at McFarland Hospital in Lebanon. She retired from nursing at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama. She is survived by her husband, Edward D. Hildreth; a son, E. Douglas Hildreth, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua Hildreth, Kelly Mixon, and Katie Marie Hildreth; and numerous nieces and nephews. 91 year old Robert Lee Snow of Smithville died Monday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a 57 year member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
