Douglas Leander Mullendore, age 49 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Thursday December 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clarissa Lee Myers Mullendore.
Mr. Mullendore is survived by his wife Emily Womack Mullendore; son, Andrew Douglas Mullendore; daughter, Rebecca Leigh Mullendore; father, Stanley Arthur Mullendore, Jr. all of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Christopher Todd Mullendore of Hermitage, TN, Scott Arthur Mullendore of Brentwood, TN, and three nieces.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday December 5, 2015 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will held 2:00 pm Sunday December 6, 2015 at DeKalb County Memorial Gardens in Smithville, TN, with Brother David Young officiating.
Mr. Mullendore was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ and a Chemical Engineer with the United States Corp of Engineers.

Annie Lou Bogle

Annie Lou Bogle age 66 of Liberty passed away Wednesday night at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. She was born July 30, 1949 to her parents, the late Oscar Lee and Nonnie Cleo Bogle Hale. Annie Lou was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and worked at the Shirt Factory and in Home Health. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas E. Bogle of Liberty; 2 children, Julie Green and Greg Bogle both of Liberty; 2 grandchildren, Mandy Tarpley and Macy Frey; 3 great-grandchildren, Allie and Ace Tarpley and Hunter Frazier; 1 brother, James Hale of Liberty. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Sunday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wilson Williams officiating and burial to follow in Hale Cemetery at Pea Ridge. Visitation will be Saturday 11AM until 8PM and Sunday 10AM until the time of the service at 1:30PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert C. “Bobby” Pedigo

57 year old Robert C. “Bobby” Pedigo of Smithville died Wednesday at St. Thomas West. He was a farmer and a truck driver. The family has chosen cremation. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan “Buck” Franklin Pedigo. Survivors include a son, Jonathon Pedigo of Smithville. Two grandchildren, Payton and Luke Pedigo. Mother, Reba Hasty of McMinnville. Two sisters, Linda Tittsworth of Cumming, Georgia and Cynthia Johnson of Hixson. One brother, Jerry and Crystal Pedigo of Smithville. Several nephews and one niece. She worked with Chrysler Motor Company for many years. Verna loved needle work and gardening in her rose garden. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sheley Miller; parents, Thomas Barry and Glisson Taylor Keith; brothers, W.S., Joe and Burnice Keith; sisters, Mathis Smithson, Billie Bain, Jean Jenkins and Izell Keith. Survived by her brother, Dallas (Shirley) Keith and several loving nieces and nephews. He was born October 6, 1946 to his parents, the late James and Lula Thweatt Booth. Mike was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam, a member of Victory Baptist Church, and worked with OSU security at the Art Center. Survivors include 2 daughters, Courtney (Jesse) Fawcett of Flower Mound, Texas, Suzanne Jones of London, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, James and Harrison; life companion, Joyce Bond of London, Ohio; 1 sister, Pam (Jerry) Adkins of London, Ohio; 1 brother, Frank (Joan) Booth; 1 aunt, Wilma Judkins of Smithville and 1 uncle, Walter Booth of Killbuck, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 2:PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Pauline “Mama Poss” Poss Cantrell age 91 of Smithville, passed away Saturday night at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. She was born October 14, 1924 to her parents, the late William Riley and Connie Gibbs Hendrixson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, James Elmer Poss and Talmadge Cantrell; grandson, Jerry Lane Poss; 2 brothers, William Vernus Hendrixson and Joe Hendrixson. Mama Poss was a member of the Bright Hill United Methodist Chruch, Smithville Senior Citizens, United Methodist Women and worked with the Methodist Clothes Closet. She was a retired shirt factory worker, school cafeteria worker and a homemaker. Survivors include 4 children, W.J. and wife Bill Poss of Smithville, Geraldine and husband Junior Fuson of Smithville, Jimmy and wife Joyce Poss of Smithville and Bobby and wife Judy Poss of Smithville; 9 grandchildren, John (Lori) Poss, Jim (J.J.) Poss, Dana Poss, Tammy (Scott) Turner, Scotty (Lori) Fuson, Tony (Jenia) Poss, Tonya (Michael) Hattaway, Christie (Mark) Hart, Jason (Misty) Poss, 20 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Ruth Colwell of Dowelltown and 1 brother, Jack (Jerrie) Hendrixson of Gallatin.
