Roy Perry Nichols, age 70, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Cannon County.
Survivors include Brothers, Thomas Earl Nichols & W.R. Nichols both of Woodbury; & Nieces, Ruth Ann (Dennis) Watts, Arlene (Dewey Barrett) Wilson, & Julie (David Speakman) Fitts.
Also surviving are several great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Richman & Maggie Lucille Davenport Nichols; Sister, Nancy Ann Nichols; Sisters-in-law, Ruth Nichols & JoAnn Nichols; Nephew, Jeff Nichols; Great great-nephew, Levi Watts.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, June 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Reed Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 9 PM Thursday, June 26, 2015 at the funeral home.

Cathy Fuson Frazier

67 year old Cathy Fuson Frazier of Smithville died Monday at Newport Medical Center in Newport, Tennessee. She was a member of the Smithville First United Methodist Church and was a retired Special Education Supervisor with the DeKalb County School System. Frazier was a 1965 graduate of DeKalb County High School. She received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Psychology from Tennessee Tech University and earned an Ed.S Degree in Special Education. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. Frazier was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carrie Graham Fuson; darling daughter, Claudette Lasser; two sisters, Paulette “Poppy” Keith and Dianna Carter; brother-in-law, Ronnie Carter; nephew, Ronald Frazier; and father and mother-in-law, Jim Roy and Audrey Frazier. She is survived by a son, Jamie Frazier; grandson, Jacob Frazier and his mother Anita Frazier Rowland all of Newport, Tennessee. Son-in-law, Harry Lasser and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex and Nate Lasser all of Smithville. Sister, Rita Fuson Frazier of Hermitage. Brother-in-law, Bobby Keith of South Carolina. Dan Randolph

Dan Randolph age 63 of Smithville passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Dan was born August 29, 1951 in Springfield, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Margaret Holdren Randolph and 1 granddaughter, Casaundra Maple. Dan was very active in the Boy Scouts having served as troop leader and in other capacities and he loved playing music. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Randolph of Smithville; 3 children, Ruth (Randy) Maple of Smithville; Adam and Glenn (Donna) Randolph of Murfreesboro; 4 step-children, Jason Grisham, Jamie Grisham and Jeffrey Grisham all of Smithville and Marsha Bush of Gordonsville; 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 4:30 PM Saturday, June 21, 2015 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Phillip Luna and Russell Vickers officiating and burial to follow in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Tim “Sweet” Cantrell age 56 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday June 17, 2015 at his residence. Tim was born June 2, 1959 to his parents, the late Talmadge and Edith Jones Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jack Pugh. He was a Presbyterian and was the activities coordinator with NHC. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Jackie Cantrell of Smithville; daughter, Abby Cantrell of Smithville; step-daughter, Stephanie Kirby of McMinnville; brother, Wayne (Harriett) Cantrell of Smithville; mother-in-law, Ruth Pugh of Smithville; niece, Elise (Jay) Driver of Smithville; nephew, Garth Cantrell of Smithville and several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted 2:PM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Carpenter officiating and burial to follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Wanda Stanley Wallace age 63 of Smithville, passed away Monday evening at her residence. Wanda was born January 2, 1952 to her parents the late L.D. Stanley and Helen Taylor Stanley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Wallace, 1 son, Jamie Webb, 1 grandson, Dalton Knight. She was a member of the Mt. Herman Baptist Church and was a caregiver and was a longtime employee at Kingston Timers. Survivors include 1 daughter, Jennifer (Ricky) Guinn of Smithville; 3 step-daughters, Rhonda (Royce) Moore of Dowelltown, Renae (Ryan) Edmonds of Bon Air, and Yvonne (Shannon) Hale of Smithville; 10 grandchildren, Sebastian Knight, Dammien Irvine, Josh & Justin Webb, Jayrah & Leah Cooper, Bobby O’Connor, II, Michael Shuttleworth, Kathryn & Kaleb Hale; mother, Helen Stanley of Smithville; 2 brothers, Larry (Phyllis) Stanley and Dennis (Donna) Stanley both of Smithville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
