71 year old Buddy Otis Bain, Jr. of Alexandria died Tuesday at UMC Hospital in Lebanon. He was an employee of the TVA Gallatin Steam Plant and a member of the Malone’s Chapel Baptist Church, a member of Alexandria Lodge #175, and the U.S. Army Otter Caribou Association. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and served as an Aviation Mechanic in the 1st Aviation Brigade. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Bill Shaw will officiate and burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy Bass Bain and Mattie Bell Dodd; and a brother, William Andy Bain. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia Ann Fitts Bain of Alexandria. Sons, Buddy Gordon Bain of Alexandria and Bobby Anthony and Shannon Bain of Lebanon. A brother, Don Bain (Monk) of Alexandria. Sisters, Frances Jordan of Gladeville, Anita Hayes of Mount Juliet, and Jean and Richard Hackett of Gordonsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or another program to help Military Veterans in his memory. 67 year old James Kenneth Tatrow of Michigan died Friday. He served in the Vietnam war as a Marine. He was also a truck driver and a baptized member of the United Methodist Church in Keltonburg, A memorial service will be Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17 from noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his dad, Robert Kenneth “Cooney” Tatrow; sons, Robert Anthony and Robin Scott Tatrow; a brother, Danny Craven Tatrow; and two sisters, Debora Tatrow and Joyann Tatrow. Survivors include his mother, Eva Lois Tatrow of Garden, Michigan. His wife, Debbie Tatrow of Garden, Michigan, A son, James Christopher Tatrow of Tiptonville, Tennessee. A daughter, Christel Dawn Tatrow of Murfreesboro. Four grandchildren, Christopher Brock Tatrow, James Clinton Tatrow, Mikayla Dawn Hendrixson, and Alyssa Dawn Roller. Two great grandchildren, Brian Christopher Tatrow and Colton Brock Tatrow. Three brothers, Gordon “Bucky” and wife Brenda Tatrow of Smithville, Kevin and wife Debbie Tatrow of Garden, and Keith Tatrow of Garden. Four sisters, Laurel and husband Dennis Jenkins, Shelby and husband Frank Lawrence, and Mary Jo and husband Corky Britt all of Smithville and Claudia and husband Tom Klink of Garden. Louise Brown age 86 of Smithville passed away Monday morning at her residence. She was born March 16, 1929 to her parents, the late Charles B. and Mary Broughton Fleming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Brown; 2 brothers, Charles B. Fleming, Jr. and Dale Raymond Fleming. Ms. Louise was a woman that feared and loved the Lord and was a member of the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a caregiver and retired from Justin Potter Library. Survivors include 4 daughters, Ginny (Robert) Winger, Sarah (Billy) Warren, Esther (Jack) Holder and Lydia (Tim) Holmes all of Smithville; 12 grandchildren, Robert Winger, Ryan Winger, Kimberly (Arik) Purpura, Beth (B.J.) Thomason, J.W. Goodman, Misty (Caisson) Martin, Melissa Hale, Matthew (Lindsey) Holmes, Daniel (Brooke) Holmes, Heather Holder, Trena Holder, Jackie (Josh) Hamby; 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church. Stephen Grubbs and Graden Kirksey will officiate and burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time. All visitation will be at Salem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Garrison and Nannie Watson; a son, William Timothy Garrison; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Delton and Ruth Vanatta. He is survived by his wife of 54 1/2 years, Wilma Lucille Garrison of Alexandria. A son Ronald Hoyte and wife Lisa Garrison of Smithville. Ms. Ludean Wright age 96 of Murfreesboro and formerly of Smithville passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at NHC HealthCare Center in Murfreesboro. She was born December 6, 1918 to her parents, the late George L. and Sallie Miller Beshearse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verble Wright; son, Charles Douglas Wright, Sr.; grandson, Charles Douglas “Chuck” Wright; 2 brothers, Virgil and James Beshearse; sister, Lois Hibdon. Ms. Ludean was a member of the Doyle Church of Christ and was a homemaker and she and her husband owned and operated Wrights Supermarket and slaughter house in Smithville and Sparta. Survivors include 3 children, Shirley (Gene) Stone of Montgomery, Texas, Jimmy (Joyce) Wright of Lascassas, Carl L. (Donna) Wright of Tipton, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Clara Mae Hawkins of Smithville; Several nieces, nephews and friends.
