61 year old Charles Donald “Don” Howard of Walling died Wednesday at his residence. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Hill The Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. Friday at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta. Survivors include his wife, Linda Humphrey Howard of Walling. A daughter, Nicole Farley and her husband Jason of Sparta. Two sons, Jeffery Howard and his wife Martha of Sparta and Bryan Howard and his wife Karen of Cookeville. One sister, Erlene Howard of Walling. Three grandchildren, Ethan Howard, Corri Beth Howard, and Madison Farley. Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to Linda Howard.
