Christopher Allen Hooper

24 year old Christopher Allen Hooper of Silver Point died Wednesday at the Medical Center emergency room in Manchester due to injuries in an auto accident. He was a Christian and a member of the National Guard. The funeral will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Dan Gulley will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Facemire and paternal grandfather, Joseph Carl Hooper. He is survived by a son, Gavin Hooper of Smithville. Parents, David Hooper of Smithville and Carol Hooper of Florida. Brothers, Greg and his wife Brianna Hooper of Franklin and Jeff Hooper of Florida. One niece and one nephew. Paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Doris Hooper and Emil Flosi of Smithville. maternal grandmother, Hilga Facemire of Florida. Uncles, Dan and his wife Nancy Hooper of Chattanooga and Allen and his wife Susan Facemire of Georgia. An aunt, Diane and her husband Daniel Willis of Nashville. Other family members also survive. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
