80 year old Claude Randall, Jr. of Smithville died Tuesday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a retired roofer. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Don Davidson will officiate and burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lela Randall and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lois Randall and a daughter, Debra Fuson both of Smithville. Three sisters, Lexie Hutchison, Lucille Alexander and Leda Benge and a brother, Johnnie Randall all of Kentucky. Three sisters-in-law, Jeanette Young, JoDean Redmon, and Nevelene Reeder all of Smithville. Two brothers-in-law, Mack Redmon of Murfreesboro and Nelson Redmon of Michigan. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
