67 year old Clayton Leon Houser of Smithville died Sunday at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of the Christian Church and he served in the U.S. Army. Houser was a member of the VFW and he was in construction. A memorial service will be Friday, March 16 at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Leroy and Bessie Pearl Siefert Houser. Survivors include three children, Ryan Houser and Tony Houser both of Indiana and Ashley Guess of Smithville. Three sisters, Ruby Smith, Doris Shepard, and Nancy Isaacs all of Indiana. Three brothers, Richard Houser, Danny Houser, and John Houser all of Indiana. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
