87 year old Clifford Jackson Trapp of Sparta died Tuesday morning at the Sparta Community Hospital. He was a farmer and a Baptist. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Virgil Hibdon, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Terry and Avo Ellender Pedigo Trapp; his wife, Meadie Carter Trapp; four sisters, Clella Petty, Claudia Emberton, Cecil Billings, and Clara Trapp; and four brothers, Clarence, Clyde, Clester, and Charlie Trapp. Survivors include a daughter, Glinda and husband Clarence Todd of Sparta. Three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
