Connie Annette Kirby Henry

53 year old Connie Annette Kirby Henry of Smithville died Wednesday at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a teacher. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Smithville Church of Christ, where she was a member. Dan Gulley, Tim Woodward, and Elwin Mahan will officiate and burial will be in the Lower Cherry Creek Cemetery in Sparta. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel and Sunday from 1:15 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Ruth Hyder Kirby. Survivors include her husband, Larry Henry of Smithville. A daughter, Jennifer Annette Henry of Smithville. Her father, William Clinton Kirby of Sparta. A brother, Warren Kirby of Sparta. Sixteen nephews and ten nieces also survive. The family has asked that donations be made, in lieu of flowers to the Connie Henry Memorial Christian Education Fund. Donations can be made at the funeral home. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
