40 year old David Bryan Thompson of Watertown died Thursday at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born in DeKalb County and was an employee of Presicion Rubber Company. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Shannon Cantrell and Leon White will officiate and burial will be in the Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. He was preceded in death by brothers Robert and Randall Hicks and grandparents, Mildred Roberts and Ewin and Ada Hicks. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Bain Thompson of Watertown. A son, Bryan Thompson of Watertown. His parents, Tom and JoAnn Hicks of Watertown. Seven brothers and sisters, Betty and her husband Danny Prater of Smithville, Christy and her husband Lynn Tisdale of Brush Creek, Jimmy and his wife Jane Thompson of Louisville, Kentucky, Joseph and his wife Kim Hicks, Brad and his wife Stephanie Hicks, and Dee Hicks all of Lebanon, and Amy and her husband Elliott Persinger of Watertown. Nine nieces and fifteen nephews also survive. Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown is in charge of the arrangements.
