Delbert Earnest “Butch” Allen

62 year old Delbert Earnest “Butch” Allen of Liberty died Monday at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran, car wash tech, and a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Dan Mallette will officiate and burial will be in the Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Timothy John Allen, Ronnie David Allen, and Benjamin Daniel Allen. Brothers, Terry and Rodger Allen. Brother-in-law, Ronnie Anderson. Sister-in-law, Tammy Spencer; and a grandson, Brian Allen. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Linda Allen. Daughters, Sabrina and husband Brad Hayes and Tabitha and husband Kirby Daniels. Grandchildren, Joshua Tyree, Kristina Tyree, Keigen Daniels, and Brianna Daniels. Brothers, Rex Allen and Denny Allen. Mother-in-law, Reba Neal Anderson. Several nieces and nephews survive. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
