88 year old Dorothy Agnes Temple of Smithville died Monday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a retired hairdresser, member of Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church, and the Order of Saint Frances. The funeral will be Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. B.J. Thomason and Father David Cooney will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Massachusetts. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the service at 4:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Temple, Sr.; parents, Joseph and Mira Cashman; a brother, Johnny Cashman; and a sister, Evie Cashman. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard, Jr. and Norma Temple of Smithville. A daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Vaughn Skinner of Massachusetts. Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church paving fund, in lieu of flowers.
