Ms. Dorothy Elizabeth Funke age 81 passed away Monday afternoon, December 18, 2017 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. Ms. Dorothy was a member of the Church of Christ and worked in housekeeping at St. Cecelia. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Edwards of Liberty; 1 niece, Dana (Butch) Davis of Dowelltown; 1 nephew, Glenn Edwards of Smithville and other extended Family members also survive. Graveside service will be conducted 1PM Friday, December 22, 2017 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville with Bro. Van Richmond officiating. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
