Dorothy Lee Luna

84 year old Dorothy Lee Luna of Smithville died Sunday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a housewife and a member of the Mount View The Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Dennis Wood and Dwight Knowles will officiate and burial will be in the Young Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from noon until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Young Taylor; four brothers, Greston, Mason, W.B., and Edward Taylor; two sisters, Emmie Knowles and Wilma Poss; and her husband, Homer Luna. Survivors include one son, Jewel and his wife Phyllis Martin of McMinnville. Two daughters, Joannia Thompson and friend Randy Gilley of Dowelltown and Teresa and husband Paul Stringer of Livingston. Eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two sisters, Goldie Pollard and Lillie Mai Young both of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
