81 year old Ella Lee Mathis of Woodbury died Wednesday at NHC of Smithville. She was a housewife and a member of the Mt. Ararat Church of Christ. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Ararat Church of Christ. Dorris Hughes will officiate and burial will be in the Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Audie and Nellie Bailey; husband, Thomas Mathis, and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Rose and husband Lloyd Watts and Nellie and husband Paul Bentley all of Woodbury and Tammie and husband Steve Young of McMinnville. Fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
