89 year old Ellen Josephine Davis Hendrixson of McMinnville died Thursday at Raintree Manor. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of McMinnville where she served as Sunday School Superintendent. Hendrixson was preceded in death by her parents, Abner and Lizzie Davis. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of High Funeral Home. Bob Case will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the service. She is survived by her husband, Bill Evins Hendrixson of McMinnville. Two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosalyn and Earl Partin of McMinnville and Lizanne and Jim Hunter of Louisville, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Ellen Hunter of Menlo Park, California, Will Partin of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Emily Partin of McMinnville, and Samuel Hunter of Louisville, Kentucky. High Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the First United Methodist Church of McMinnville.
