83 year old Elsie Emaline Waldron Turner of Sparta died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. The funeral will be Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Adam Scales and Dwight Knowles will officiate and burial will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:30 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edwin and Beatrice Miller Waldron; a son, William Gregory, and a sister, Juanita Tomlin. Survivors include a son, Mark and wife Connie Smith of Murfreesboro. Two daughters, Diane and husband Rayford Scales of Kentucky and Debbie Embree of Nashville. Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two brothers, Gilbert Waldron of Pleasant View and James Waldron of Nashville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
