Eugene Dimmick

91 year old Eugene Dimmick of Lancaster died Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was also a tool engineer. A graveside service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillview Memorial Cemetery. Royce Moore will officiate. Dimmick was preceded in death by his parents, Geff and Anastasia Bosolwetz Dimmick; his first wife, Margaret Dimmick and his second wife, Alice Dimmick. A son, Henry Dimmick. A grandson, Eugene Dimmick, and a brother, Edward Dimmick. He is survived by his children, Margaret Newland of Florida, Eugene Jeffrey Dimmick, and Victoria and husband Ronald Johnson of New York. Grandchildren, Matthew Johnson of New York and Megan Johnson of Connecticut. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
