Faye Griffin

65 year old Faye Griffin of Smithville died Friday at her residence. She was a nursery worker. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Maggie Green Walker; and brothers, Chuck Walker and J.B. Walker. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, George Griffin of Smithville. A son, Daryl and his wife Denise Griffin of Smithville. A granddaughter, Sabrina Griffin of Smithville. Brothers, Jerry Walker of Smithville, Dwight Walker of Sparta, and Cordell Walker, Ronnie Walker, and Doug Walker all of Smithville. Sisters, Shirley Cook of Smithville and Lera Arnold of McMinnville. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
