88 year old Frank William Fain of Smithville died Monday night at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. He was a citrus grower manager and he attended the Allen’s Chapel United Methodist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, Florida. Phil Tollett will officiate and burial will be in the White City Cemetery in Fort Pierce, Florida. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Thomas Fain; his parents, Richard and Nellie Shiflet Fain; brothers, Floyd and John Fain; and sisters, Mavis Benefield and Launa Pruitt. Survivors include two daughters, Mickey Currington of Florahome, Florida and Kitty Vonckx of Smithville. Sisters, Genelle Adams of Tavares, Florida and Viola Pruitt of Fruitland Park, Florida. A brother, Gene Fain of Warsaw, Indiana. Five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made to the Zone at Allen’s Chapel United Methodist Church, in lieu of flowers.
