77 year old Fredericka Elizabeth Meiele Schwenke of Dowelltown died Saturday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Harold McCarty will officiate. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Helen Elizabeth Hand Meiele and her husband, William Charles Schwenke. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen and husband Michael Monroe of Dowelltown. Three grandchildren, Daniel Michael Schwenke, Sarah Elizabeth Ross and companion Jimmy McKeown, and Kaitlin Monroe. Great grandchildren, Madeleine Schwenke, Gracelynn McKeown, Hayley McKeown, and special friend, Mary McKenzie. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
