28 year old Gary Wayne Cantrell of Liberty died Friday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was an employee of Federal Mogul, member of the Old Fashion Freewill Baptist Church, and he was a firefighter of the Liberty Station. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. David Lawson will officiate and burial will be in the Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Tina Ashford Cantrell. He is survived by his wife, Felisha Vanatta Cantrell; one son, Dakoda Wayne Cantrell; and one daughter, Aveya Grace Cantrell all of Liberty. His mother, Edna Ashford of Smithville. Three sisters, Rhonda King of McMinnville and Barbara Green and Gail Mullican of Smithville. One brother, Jerry Ashford of Smithville. His grandmother, Ma Ruby Carter, and aunt and uncle, Ronnie and Debbie Carter. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
