Glenda Gunter Caldwell

67 year old Glenda Gunter Caldwell died Wednesday at St. Thomas in Nashville. She was owner of DeKalb Market. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Woodbury Funeral Home and burial will be at Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Donnie Kelley will officiate. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mildred Gunter. Survivors include a daughter Sherri Hood and husband Ricky and two grandsons, Chris Hood and Dustin Hood all of Smithville. Three sisters Jo and husband Med Motley of Murfreesboro, Betty Sue Hullett of Peru, Indiana, and Fay Pitts of Woodbury. A brother Aubrey and wife Carol Gunter of the Short Mountain Community. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Smithville church of Christ Missions Fund.
