78 year old Henry Eston Knowles of Smithvile died Saturday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was owner of Eston Knowles Realty and a member of the Indian Mound The Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Johnny Adcock and Glynn Love will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the service at 3:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilse and Charlie Summers Knowles and an infant sister. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Redmon Knowles of Smithville. Three sons, Levoy and his wife Teresa Knowles of McMinnville, Terry Knowles and fiance Tish Watson of Smithville, and Chuck and his wife Angela Knowles of Clarksville. Seven grandchildren, Bryan Knowles and girlfriend Samantha Redmon, Andy Knowles and girlfriend Chelsea O’Kelley, Ashley and Caitlyn Knowles, Crystal, Lindsey and Ken Clayton. Two brothers, B.P. “Dick” and his wife Louise Knowles of Smithville, Jessie Lewis and his wife Linda Knowles of Lake City, Florida. A brother-in-law, Keith and his wife Sherry Redmon of McMinnville. A sister-in-law, Charlene and her husband Melvin Pickett of McMinnville and Ruth and Imelda Redmon both of McMinnville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made to the Indian Mound The Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
