Four month old Isaiah Nicholas James Freeman of Smithville died Tuesday at the emergency room of DeKalb Community Hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Young Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. The child was preceded in death by his great grandparents, James Larry Pedigo, James Hugh McGinnis, and Clyde B. and Lucille S. Hale. Survivors include his parents, Darryl James and Heather Renee Freeman of Smithville. Sisters, Adrianna Renee Church, Patience Destiny, Katherine Freeman, MaKenzi Leigh Freeman, and MaKaylyn Marie Freeman. Grandparents, Bobby and Margie Hale of Smithville, Jeff McGinnis of Sparta, James Darryl Freeman of Cincinnati, and Kimberly Ann Cohorn of Nashville. Special uncle, Justin Clyde Hale and his daughter, Raven Trinity Hale. Great grandmothers, Linda McGinnis of Sparta and Shirley Pedigo of Smithville. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. The family has asked that donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
