55 year old James Felix Waggoner of Smithville died Saturday at his residence. He was an employee of Simpson Construction and a member of the Johnson’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. David Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 4:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Felix and Opal Odell Petty Waggoner. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Sherian Waggoner of Smithville. Three daughters, Sherry and husband Bobby Maxwell and Sarah and husband Anthony Cross all of Sparta; and Shelly and husband Jonathan Womack of McMinnville. One son, Jamie and wife Miranda Waggoner of Smithville. One brother, Jesse and wife Rita Waggoner of Carthage. Three sisters, Dorothy and husband Harold Bratcher and Opal and husband Danny Parker all of Smithville and Judy Waggoner of Carthage. Twelve grandchildren, Dakota, Darren, Lilly, Ben, Ariel, Dee Dee, Alora, Damian, (Bo Bo), Will, Martin, Chalee, John Collin and several cousins, nieces, and nephews survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
