89 year old James Foutch Young of Smithville died Saturday at the Webb House Retirement Center. He was a retired Postal Carrier and a member of the Smithville Church of Christ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Marjorie Foutch Young; his wife, Ruby Jean Young; two sisters, Betty Davies and Henri Cantrell. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Jeff Truelove of Franklin. One son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sherry Young of Springfield. A brother, Dan Young of Virginia. One sister, Mary Ann Hall of Cookeville. Four grandchildren, Kelly White of South Carolina, Matt Young of Sevierville, Chris Young of Lebanon, and Casey Truelove of California. Three great grandsons, Cameron, Caleb, and Caden Young of Lebanon. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made to the Smithville Day School or the Smithville Church of Christ, in lieu of flowers.
