84 year old Jane Hughes Bratten of Nashville died Sunday at The Meadows in Nashville. She was a retired pharmacist at Saint Thomas Hospital and a member of Salem Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church. Don Mathis and Mark Wade will officiate and burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home and Tuesday from noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gertrude Spurlock Bratten and a brother, Bundy Bratten. Survivors include a sister, Mary and her husband Jack Duggin of Nashville and Annetta Fite of Liberty. Eight nieces, Diana Redmon of Murfreesboro, Mary Jane and Jackie Brown of Liberty, Betty Carol Fite of Nashville, Kathy and Ben Hearn of Gordonsville, Tommie Ann Sliger of Liberty, Terry Jane and David Converse of Nashville, Jennifer Gholson of Mount Juliet, and Trudy and Bill Kissiack of Atlanta, Georgia. Special longtime friends Eleanor Dougherty of Nashville and Violet Fuson of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
