70 year old Jannie Bell Higgins of Madison died Wednesday at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was a Methodist and owner of a hair and nail salon. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Wilson Williams will officiate and burial will be in the Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Florence Goode Lorance and her husband, Robert Higgins. Survivors include brothers-in-law, Tony and wife Diane Higgins of Alexandria, Jerry and wife Harriett Higgins of Whitehouse, Carl and wife Diane Higgins of Nashville, Donald Higgins of Dickson, James Higgins of Dickson, and Charles and wife Eleanor Higgins of Jacksonville, Florida. Special friends, Mary Hunter of Nashville and Wilson and Lois Williams of Liberty. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
