81 year old Jean Cooper of Murfreesboro died Friday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of DeKalb County but lived most of her life in Rutherford County. She was a member of New Vision Baptist Church, and a homemaker
Cooper was preceded in death by her parents, Ewin Pack and Sally Mai Smithson Pack; husband, Jack Cooper; daughter, Deborah Lynn Miller; son, Rudy V. Miller; and brother, Auburn Pack. She is survived by her son, Russ Donivan Miller of Murfreesboro; daughter, Sherry Holsted of Murfreesboro; brother, Buford Allen Pack; three grandchildren, Kathy Cantrell, Valerie Lewis and Adam Holsted; six great-grandchildren, Lydia Saunders, Jackson Lewis, Parker Lewis, Simon Lewis, Sophie Holsted, Max Holsted; and one great-great-grandchild, Bentlee Saunders.
A chapel service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday at Jennings and Ayers Chapel in Murfreesboro. Phillip Robinson and David Goins will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens
Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro.
