42 year old Jeffrey Lynn (Mutt) Wilson of Smithville died Friday at DeKalb Hospital of an extended illness. He was a Cannon County native, a member of the Smithville Church of God, and a maintenance worker at Richland Retirement Home. The funeral will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Greg Mitchell will officiate and burial will be in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his mother, Floy D. Wilson; his father, Henry Hibdon; and his brother, Charles Wilson. Survivors include sisters, Emma Conatser of Smithville, Faye and her husband Ronnie Bedwell, Betty Duke, Debra Campbell, and Crystal Robinson all of Woodbury. Brothers, Wayne Wilson of Nashville, Bobby Wilson of Woodbury, and Jimmy and his wife Peggy Wilson of Woodbury. His ex-wife is Brenda Gamble Wilson of Smithville. Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
