83 year old Jessie Mae Davis of Hixson and formerly of Smithville died Friday at the Life Care Center of Red Bank, Chattanooga. She was a homemaker, member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A graveside service will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Michael Hurst will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and at the graveside service Monday at 10:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Era Self Hendrixson; husband, Joe W. Davis; brothers and their wives, Hobert and Lucille, Louis and Lucille, and J.D. and Lucille Hendrixson; a nephew, James Allen Hendrixson. Survivors include a daughter, Katherine and her husband William Faulk of Hixson. One granddaughter, Fran White of Hixson. One grandson, Todd and his wife Robin Faulk of Signal Mountain. A step-son, David and his wife Shelia Davis of Alabama. A step grandson, Lee Davis of Alabama. Four great grandchildren, Alex and Andy Faulk of Signal Mountain, and Meghan and Morghan White of Hixson. Three nieces, Frankie Hagan of Smithville, Delores Puckett of Lebanon, Gilda Hurst of Monteagle. Two nephews, Taft and Dewain Hendrixson of Smithville.
