60 year old John Thomas Muncey of McMinnville died Sunday at his residence of an extended illness. He was a self employed nurseryman and logger and a member of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of High Funeral Home. Bobby Muncey and Pokie George will officiate and burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service. He is survived by a daughter, Julia Turner of McMinnville. Three grandchildren, Hannah Campbell, Jacob Campbell, and Ashley Turner all of McMinnville. One brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Donna Muncey of McMinnville. Four sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Paul Byford of Smithville, June and Butch Fults of Centertown, Pam and Jimmy Smartt of McMinnville, and Shirley and Pokie George of the Gath community. Several nieces and nephews also survive. High Funeral Home in McMinnville is in charge of the arrangements.
