73 year old Josie Pauline Hobbs of Liberty died Saturday September 5 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. The family has chosen direct cremation but a memorial service will be held at graveside at Mt. Ararat Cemetery Saturday September 19 at 11:00am. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vander Anderson and Linnie Ferrell McMahan; a daughter, Judy Womack; and three brothers, Paul, J.W.. and Frankie Anderson. Survivors include her husband, John Hobbs of Liberty. Two sons, Jerry and Marinna Herman and Steven and Melissa Hobbs all of Liberty. One daughter, Vicky McMurdock of Manchester. Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
