93 year old Juanita Haley of the Green Hill Community died Thursday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker, member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Order of the Eastern Star, Short Mountain Chapter #474 in Smithville, WMU at Gath Baptist Church, and the Family and Community Education in Dibrell. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale will officiate and burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eston Haley; a son, Paul Gentry Haley; grandson, Stephen Earl Haley; parents, Wyatt Lee and Lola Edith Griffith Davis; brothers and sisters, Glenn Austin Davis, Wilma Rebecca Pressley, Joe Wyatt Davis, Lillian Helena Davis, Lee Farr Davis, and Jim Sloan Davis. Survivors include children, Pat and husband Bill Goff, Robert Wayne Haley, Carolyn and husband Arnold Sotke, David and wife Marsha Haley, and Vicki Haley. Grandchildren, Kimberly Goff Parant, Douglas and wife Diane Haley, Jason and wife Stacy Sotke, Kristin Goff, Brandy Sotke-Boyd, Heather and husband Christopher Priddy, Eric and wife Nicole Haley, Megan and husband Brian Worley. Great grandchildren, Joshua Parant, Adam Parant, Kala Milanovick, Rebecca Wehrmann, Cali Haley, Colby Haley, Jordin Milanovich, Chase Milanovich, Calen Priddy, Eston Sotke, Dylan Worley, Nathan Priddy, Luke Sotke, Owen Worley, and Lauren Priddy. Great great grandchild, Lydia Sloan Parant. Sisters, Evelyn “Tincy” Young and Billie Marie Leckliter. Sisters-in-law, Jean Haley and Janice Davis. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. The family asks that donations be made to Bethel Cemetery or Caris Hospice, in lieu of flowers. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
