Judy Ann Slager

Judy Ann Slager, age 74, a local business woman of Alexandria passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 12, 2017 surrounded by her family. Ms. Slager co-owned and operated Alexandria Shop-Ezy for 17 years and Judy’s Antiques in Alexandria for the last 27 years.
Ms. Slager was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Roy H. Slager, her parents Bill and Ella Malone Clayborn, and a brother Bobby Clayborn.
Ms. Slager is survived by her son Dennis (Teresa) Slager, two grandchildren Holly and Jon (Katie) Slager, one great-grandchild, Preston Williams and a brother Jackie Clayborn.
The family will be receiving visitors at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria on Friday October 13 from 4 p.m-8 p.m., Saturday October 14, 1 p.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday October 15 from 11 a.m. until the celebration of life at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Anderson Funeral Home. Interment at Hillview Cemetery to follow. Bro. Doug Dillard and Bro. Doyle Slager will officiate. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to DeKalb County Fair Association.
