87 year old Kanzada Summers of Dowelltown died Sunday at her daughter’s residence. She was a homemaker. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Virgil Hibdon, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Pedigo-Summers Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from noon until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Agnes Buckner Pedigo; her husband, John Lee Summers; two sons, Gordon and Albert Lee Summers; four brothers, Norval, Edd, and Aaron Lee and Elvee Vester Pedigo; and three sisters, Frances Bandy, Odell Summers, and Carrie Inez Pedigo. Survivors include two daughters, Kay Bailiff of Dowelltown and Jeanette Farris of Smithville. Three sons, Bobby and wife Sue Summers and Roger Summers all of Smithville, and Douglas and wife Kathy Summers of Liberty. Sixteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren. A sister, Lorene and husband Wilburn Chastine of Winchester. A half brother, Elvis and wife Deborah Pedigo of Dowelltown and a half sister, Marie and husband Jimmie Luna of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
