Linda Sue Osment

58 year old Linda Sue Osment of Smithville died Wednesday at her residence. She was a retired employee of Kingston Timer and a member of the Short Mountain Church of God. The funeral will be Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father, J.E. Merriman. Survivors include her husband, Joe Osment of Smithville. Two daughters, Gidget and her husband Mark Malone and Ginda and her husband John Kilgore all of Smithville. Two grandchildren, Zach Malone and Kolter Kilgore both of Smithville. Her mother, Georgia Lee Merriman of Smithville. Two brothers, Eddie and Mike Merriman both of Smithville. Two sisters, Carolyn Agee of Smithville and Pat Canerdy of Alexandria. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
