75 year old Loyde Ferrell of McMinnville died Sunday of a short illness at Stones River Hospital. He was a Cannon County native, a member of the Church of Christ, and a retired employee of the Colonial Corporation and the Woodbury Nursing Center. The funeral wil be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Norman Pelham will officiate and burial will be in the Blue Wing Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Carlie Watson Ferrell and his wife, Josie Brown Ferrell. He is survived by three sons, Lloyd, Jr. and his wife Tashau Ferrell of Woodbury, Cecil and wife Frankie Ferrell of McMinnville, and Mark and wife Tammy Ferrell of Smithville. Special companion, Dean Mooneyham of Woodbury. Five sisters, Helen Ledbetter, Betty Comstock, Annette Green,and Linda Hillard all of Shelbyville and Mary Nell Lynn of Hillsboro. One brother, Ralph Ferrell of Beech Grove. Seven grandchildren, Carlene Redmon, Travis and Adam Ferrell, Brittany, Brandon, Jamie, and Cheyenne Ferrell. Two great grandchildren, Jared and Deanna Redmon. One step grandchild, Erika Canuto. Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
