95 year old Macon Knowles Judkins of Smithville passed away Saturday at her residence. She was a member of the Smithville Business and Professional Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Mt. View Primitive Baptist Church and a Corporate Secretary and Co-owner of H.J. Judkins & Sons Nursery, Inc. The funeral will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Elder Paul Violet and Elder Ronald Lawrence will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maggie Vaughn Knowles; husband, H.J. Judkins; son, Marlon Judkins; granddaughter, Ann Claire Judkins; brothers, Lewis Knowles and L.D. Knowles; and sisters, Ollie Womack and Dollie Foutch. Survivors include grandsons, Jim Judkins of Smithville and Mac and Lauren Judkins of Alabama. Daughter-In-Law, LeAnn Foutch Judkins of Smithville and several nieces and nephews. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to the Smithville Senior Citizens.
