Margaret Louise Chisam

75 year old Margaret Louise Chisam of McMinnville died Wednesday at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. Born in Warren County, she was a retired employee of A.O. Smith, and she attended Arlington Church of Christ. Mrs. Chisam was preceded in death by parents Johnnie Eldon and Bessie Walker Holt, first husband Thomas (Tom) Jerrel Higgins, Sr., a brother Bobby Jewell Holt, and a sister Barbara Joyce Holt.
Survivors include her husband John Thomas (J. T.) Chisam, daughters Vicki Higgins Cantrell and husband John of McMinnville and Gina Diane Higgins Bain and husband Cleveland of Smithville, a son Thomas Jerrel Higgins, Jr. and fiancé Tammy Foutch, of McMinnville, sisters Sara Jean Cantrell and husband Doug of Smithville, and Nancy Faye Womack and husband Terry of McMinnville, and a brother John Thomas Holt and wife Betty of McMinnville. Four step children, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.. Richard Bowman and Bobby Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 8 PM on Thursday and again Friday from 10 AM until 2 PM at McMinnville Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
