75 year old Marie Rucker Keaton of Alexandria died Monday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a member of Neely’s Bend Baptist Church and she attended the Upper Helton Baptist Church. Keaton was also a retired factory worker. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Jason Groe and Javan Lawson will officiate and burial will be in the Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 3:00 p.m. Keaton was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Ola May Dedmon Williams; a daughter, Judy Thomas; brothers, Roy, Pete, and J.B. Williams; and sisters, Aline Bates and Mattie Oleta West. Survivors include her husband, James E. Keaton of Alexandria. Daughter, Barbara Teresa and husband Michael French of Texas. Granddaughter, Tina Carol Martin of Texas. Grandson, Robert Allen Parker of North Carolina. Great grandchildren, Stephanie Shea Malleo, Daniel Marie Malleo of Arizona, and Noel Marie Parker of Alabama. Step-daughters, Teresa and husband Edwin Bogle, Renee and husband Bobby Hale, and Vickie and husband Jimmy Woods all of Alexandria, Carol and husband Loyd Hollaway of Kingston, and Pam Curtis of Smithville. Step-grandchildren, Casey and husband Joey Agee, Dustin and wife Brittany Bogle, Bobby Lee Hale, Thomas and wife Keisha Hale, Brandi and husband Heath Womack, Tyler Woods, and Jodi Curtis. Three step-great grandchildren, Avery and Jordyn Agee and Layne Hale. Brothers, Johnny Edward Williams of Smithville and Brownie Williams of Boilings Branch and a sister, Louise Sweeney of Hartsville. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
