66 year old Marion E. Daw of Liberty died Friday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Whorton Springs Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. David Mahan and Frank Abbanonte will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Phyllis Hall Brown. Survivors include her husband, Larry Daw of Liberty. One son, Lee and his wife Lori Sorenson of New York. One step-son Artie and his wife Regina Taylor Daw of Smithville. One step-daughter, Noel and her husband Willie Dowling of New York. Grandchildren, Haley, Kyle, Bryan, and Jake Sorensen of New York, Nicholas Lawrence Daw of Smithville and William Dowling III of New York. Two sisters, Phyllis and her husband Frank Abbanonte and Joanie Frangipani of New York. Three brothers, Butch and his wife Louise Brown of Florida, Buddy Brown of New York, and Buster and Roseann of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
