48 year old Mark Smith Loring of Smithville died Wednesday at his residence. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the New Life Pentecostal Church where he was a member. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. All EMS and Fire Department employees are asked to be Honorary Pallbearers and to wear their uniforms. He was the son of the late Charles and Nancy Loring. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Loring of Smithville. Two sons, Charles Adam Loring and Mark Stephen Loring both of Smithville. Three brothers, Bob Loring of Gallatin, Joe Loring of Hermitage, and Michael and his wife Regina Loring of Westmoreland. Three sisters, Jackie and her husband Dale Bockman of Augusta, Georgia; Charlene and her husband Danny Foutch of Mount Juliet; and Edith Loring of Atlanta, Georgia. His mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Billy Arnold of Camden. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer or Lymphoma Society, in lieu of flowers.
