Zailan Martinez and Caitlyn Lee Adcock were crowned Little Mister and Miss at the DeKalb County Fair Tuesday night.
Martinez is the 5 year old son of Michelle and Michael Martinez of Smithville and Adcock is the 6 year old daughter of Jessie and Tia Adcock of Smithville.
They succeed the 2016 Little Mister and Miss, Austin Merriman and Lakelyn Brooke Nelson. Merriman is the 7 year old son of Joyce and Jake Merriman of Smithville and Nelson is the 6 year old daughter of Dustin and Kristian Nelson of Smithville.
The Little Miss contest featured 16 girls and 7 boys were in the Litter Mister pageant ages 4-6.
First runner-up in the Little Miss contest was Arraya Jenae Taylor, the 4 year old daughter of Angie Taylor and Mike Owens of Smithville.
Mia Nicole Hall of Alexandria, was second runner-up. She is the 6 year old daughter of Bradley and Lacy Hall
Third runner-up was Destiny Keys, the 5 year old daughter of Rick and Kendra Guinn of Smithville.
Carleigh Elizabeth Tramel, the 4 year old daughter of Charlie and Brenda Tramel of Liberty, was fourth runner-up.
Cora Marie Cox, the 6 year old daughter of Brandon and Whitney Cox of Smithville was Most Photogenic and Hannah Lynnlee Hubner of Alexandria was Miss Congeniality. She is the 5 year old daughter of Charlie Hubner and Amanda Hutchinson
Others in the top ten were Brylee Michelle Key, the 5 year old daughter of Shannon and Holly Key of Alexandria; Cora Marie Cox, the 6 year old daughter of Brandon and Whitney Cox of Smithville; Hannah Lynnlee Hubner of Alexandria, the 5 year old daughter of Charlie Hubner and Amanda Hutchinson; Charley Loren Prichard, the 5 year old daughter of Andy and Chrissy Prichard of Liberty; and Jacie Rea Sosa, the 5 year old daughter of Noe and Megan Sosa of Smithville.
Other participants were Emily Grace Roberts, the 5 year old daughter of Tonya and Kevin Roberts of Liberty; Paisley Marie Bain, the 4 year old daughter of Larry and Rachel Bain of Smithville; Addison Paige Curtis, 4 year old daughter of Heather Page and John Curtis of Smithville; Annabelle Merriman, the 6 year old daughter of Joyce and Jake Merriman of Smithville; Lyra Dell McMinn, the 5 year old daughter of Nathan and Amanda McMinn of Smithville; Averi Gracella Speaks, the 4 year old daughter of Justin and Donna Speaks of Smithville.

First runner-up in the Little Mister contest and Most Photogenic was Levi Bryson Nixon, the 4 year old son of Nathan and Jessica Nixon of Smithville.
Five year old Emmitt Hale was second runner-up. His grandmother is Candy Hale of Smithville.
Third runner-up was Jase Ray Alvis, the 4 year old son of Braiden and Brandy Alvis of Alexandria.
Fourth runner-up went to Troy Wilmore, 4 year old son of Austin and Tiffany Wilmore of Alexandria.
Noah Bradley Hall was named Mister Manners. He is the 4 year old son of Bradley and Lacy Hall of Alexandria
The other contestant in the Little Mister pageant was Jonathan Cain Hall, the 5 year old son of Johnny Hall and Cayden Cantrell of Smithville
There has been one $500 cash winner so far this week. Ethan Cantrell of Smithville won $500 Tuesday night.
The DeKalb County Fair will feature the following events tonight (Wednesday)

Rides on the Midway by the Family Attractions Amusement Company. Unlimited rides will be available for $14.00 on Wednesday and $18.00 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Admission to the fair is $4.00 per person. Children age four and younger will be admitted free! Gates open at 4:30 p.m. through Friday and at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The exhibit building is open from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Parking is Free!
