Michael Andrew Elliott

19 year old Michael Andrew Elliott of Smithville died Friday. He was a member of the Smithville First United Methodist Church and an employee at Gordon’s Hardware. The funeral will be Tuesday at noon at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Mark Pafford and John Purdue will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Murray and Frances Rhinehart and James Parham. Survivors include his parents, Susan and Gordon Parham of Smithville and Mark and Michelle Elliott of Murfreesboro. Three brothers, Stephen Elliott of Knoxville, Alex Elliott of Murfreesboro, and Matthew and wife Wendy Parham of Crossville. Three sisters, Bri and husband Nick Cole and Alyssa Koch all of Murfreesboro, Kimberly and husband Woody Cox of Hurst, Texas. Paternal grandparents, Glenn and Janette Elliott of Portland and Donald and Beverly Venske of Smithville. Maternal grandmother, Margie Parham of Cookeville. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangemenets.
